Eric.....Krangel.
"In this generation, the hardcore audience is split between the Xbox 360 and the PS3, with Microsoft winning the lion's share."
Leave it to Eric "Master Douche" Krangel to somehow throw that in an article about the PS2 of all things.
The one thing that's getting me is the fact that I know SE would milk and market that opportunity for every dime they could get.
The only thing keeping me from avoiding this game completely is the fact that Allen Covert wrote it. The guy's hilarious and I'm hoping to see how his humor fit into the game.
However, at $30, I wouldn't hold my breath at there being any updates if there's bugs.
I remember reading IGN's review of this and I vowed never to listen to another one of their cruddy reviews ever again.
This game sits proudly on my shelf, not collecting dust because I still play it from time to time. This game was hands-down one of the best brawlers I ever played....and it burns me up when the hardcore Clover Studio fans refer to this as "the game that killed Clover".
This game had found something that most Animes lose sight of, and i...
....and even SHE doesn't use Apple anymore. You know why? The same reasons I don't....OS X, and Steve Jobs making the Apple brand synonomous with Hipster Douche.
I still have a 1st gen iMac with lovely ol' Mac OS 8.6 on it, and I still play with it, considering I have all those old MacAddict magazine CD-ROMs with neat little games and utilities. But once OS X came around, I didn't really like it and that's around the time the iPod was literally saving Apple from the brink of...
That doesn't come as much of a surprise to me, considering I was one of those 4.8 mil who graciously gave 68 hours to playing that masterpiece.
Ironically enough, I haven't been able to play all the way through a JRPG since.
Looks like it's time to bust out my 40 year old AC unit again.....let's see how many transformers THAT old thing blows out before night's end.
EDIT: No need to get panties in a wad, folks, it's called a joke.
However, every bulb in my house is a CFL, so I do my part all year round anyway....I think it'll be fine.
This is the same bloodmask whose forum banner is an alligator eating a ps3.
Cry cry some more, that all your little friends don't have bubbles, and yes I'm being serious. To have a contributor score such as yours, you have to be on N4G at least 18 hours a day posting stories. Nice way to spend your life, maybe as you get older, you'll realize that "having the most contributor points on a gaming website" isn't gonna sound like a great accomplishment.

Would be nice if the link worked
....but retention of ownership of the IP will make tidal waves among the indie scene. I've heard of authors and film makers who spend years and multiple millions of dollars just to get their respective licenses back into good hands, a good example would be Dee Snyder and the as-of-yet unmade sequel to Strangeland. Took the guy damn near a decade to get a script with his name on it back from the government after they raided the production studio that was going to be responsible for Strangela...
Wow, even the Wii got smacked around this week, good, it deserves it. Right now I truly believe the Wii is the worst bang for the buck this generation, and it has been the whole time.
Nintendo made a mint off of duping people into paying $250 for a Gamecube 1.5, I mean the networking on it sucks, the $5 web browser on it is something out of a Pentium II, and the classic game library is a non-issue if you take 5 mins to find some emulators for PC.
To me, if anyt...
Uh.....so that means the hours I already dumped into this game are now obsolete?
Thanks, I'll be writing Sony for one of two things, either a Firmware update to support backtrack awarding of trophies, or a restitution for the time I invested in playing a great, but ultimately super-glorified PS1 game.
I agree completely...this concept of "wuv" probably confuses and irritates the Gabe Newell.
One more reason for me to hate Valve and continue NOT giving them my money. I mean, their own "Portal" dev? That's not just a slap in the face, that's a red hot steel spike in the ass.
I have yet to play an RPG other than Xenogears that enthralled me so much as Dragon Quest 8. Despite the sometimes rampant cheese in that game, it really took me back to the old turn-based RPGs that are so few and far between nowadays.
Final fantasy XII was hands-down the worst FF...maybe it ties with FF9 because that one also sucked but regardless..FF XII was a joke, and they better NEVER use that battle system again..this isn't Star Ocean, Square, nor do we want it to be.
Well then Psycho360, at least tell me you read the novel so you got some knowledge of it before you watched it.
GTA4 was a massive letdown for me....however, Saints Row 2 came along and saved the day for me, with it's extremely "San Andreas"-style gameplay and not so heavy emphasis on flying through the windshield of a car and dying in the middle of a pain-in-the-ass mission.
I seriously think you need glasses, fanboy
do you realize how stupid you look in that photo?
*Falcon Punch!*
Plain and simple, I popped this game in the other day and I could hardly stomach it for the 6 hours I played it.
Quite frankly, it's VERY Japanese, but not in a good way, more like in a heavily stereotyped and offensive way. From the Ultra-femmy guys whose voices DO NOT fit them at all to the horrendously annoying...well...everything! The battle system doesn't have much new and the story and dialogue are enough to kill the mood for all but the hardest of the hardcore Otaku ou...
Postal 2 was hilarious, and the movie was actually very funny. I'm looking forward to this, but don't hold your breath for a PS3 version, or even a decent 360 version.
